Through-the-Glass Teleprompter

through the glass teleprompterTeleprompters make life easier! Rather than memorizing scripts, which can be daunting, the presenter simply reads his or her lines on the teleprompter glass, in front of the camera. Without having to refer to cue cards or printed notes, the presenter can focus on delivering a good performance.

These are similar to the traditional studio teleprompter found in newsrooms and TV Stations but with bulky CRT display replaced by more compact, lightweight and efficient flat panel LCD display. This design allows the talent to read the lines off the beam-splitter glass (reflected from the LCD display) and look directly into the camera, hence the ability to address the audience directly.

Here’s our line of “through-the-glass” teleprompter models:

Stage Prompter

stage prompterEver wondered how Presidents, Prime Ministers or CEOs are able to deliver hour-long speeches on stage so flawlessly? This is all possible with the help of the Stage Teleprompter.

Just like the through-the-glass teleprompter, the stage prompter has a special glass placed at eye-level, to allow the presenter to refer to the reflected cue lines and scripts from an upward facing ultra-bright LCD display at the base. This allows the presenter to maintain good eye contact with the audience, subtly referring to cues or script lines projected on the prompter glass.

We supply Stage Prompters to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and India.

Stage Prompter: Similar in design to the through-the-glass teleprompter but without the shroud and hood attachment and camera, these are now commonly used on stage even by Presidents, hence the term “Presidential Prompter”. With the Stage Teleprompter, the speaker is able to maintain eye contact with the audience and stay on top of the script!
